Aim Designs International is a design studio in Nairobi, Kenya. This policy explains how we collect and use personal data when you visit our website, send us a brief or work with us, in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
2. What we collect
Details you give us: your name, business name, town, phone number, email address, and the content of your brief or messages.
Project material you send: logos, photos, text and other files needed for your design.
Basic website data: like most websites, our hosting provider may record technical information such as your browser type and pages visited.
3. How we use it
To reply to your enquiry and prepare your quote.
To deliver and invoice the work you order.
To keep records required for our business and tax obligations.
To send you occasional updates only if you have agreed to receive them.
4. WhatsApp and third-party services
When you use our order form or WhatsApp buttons, your message is sent through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta and has its own privacy policy. Our website is hosted on Odoo. Where we run ads for you, campaign data is processed by the advertising platform.
5. Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers we need to deliver your work (such as printers you ask us to work with), or where the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
We keep project records for as long as needed to deliver the work and meet legal and tax requirements, and then delete or anonymise them.
7. Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you can ask to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can object to its use for marketing. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC).
